I get it has a purpose, but Thor still looks like Fabio.

Weekly Pull Highlights: August 30, 2019
From hurricane preparations, to the D23 Conference (She-Hulk!!), to the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Trailer, we cover all the big talking points from the week. Comics this week were heavy on the Marvel-side with lots of middle issue melodrama, and another DC title all about villains without actually telling us who's the Year of the Villain is all about! Mamas haven't had it this hard since Bohemian Rhapsody.
Weekly Pull Highlights: May 8, 2019
Tee is back in action this week, and makes her comic penance by going over the female dis-empowerment of Female Furies from last week, plus Chris gives some solid jumping in points for late issue comics. As for news, we run you through a whole bunch of trailers both big and small, including the new 'Spider-Man: Far from Home,' AKA, 'Jake Gyllenhaal as everyone's favorite member of the Babysitter's Club'. We wrap up with a Mother's Day special about how not very special the poor mama's in comics are. We're a divided household (Kirk vs. Picard).
Weekly Pull Highlights: April 24, 2019
This week: PERIL! Death threats! Creepy stalkers! Butt Censorship! We also spend a sizable amount of time discussing the best Star Trek Captain and providing our Avengers Endgame theories. Our spoiler-free Captain Marvel movie review!
Weekly Pull Highlights: March 6, 2019
My Goodness, there sure is a lot of comics and news topics to discuss this week. Good thing we laid out our time properly to give each item the appropriate amount of discussion time. ....oh, whoops... Rushed, overly-complicated schedule aside, we cap off this episode with our review of Captain Marvel COMPLETELY SPOILER FREE! What's more fun than politics in comics, amiright?
Weekly Pull Highlights: February 6, 2019
This week we discuss the start of "The Price," new directions for Daredevil, and gush over how beautiful DIE is. In the news, people can barely contain their appreciation for Avengers Endgame, Chris Evans's possible future with Marvel, Alfred Pennyworth is a gritty badass, and Chris derails the whole thing to rant about Star Wars. Finally, we get political and then judge others for getting political. I mean, what says politics more than being a total hypocrite? |
