You're emotions are about to get PUMMELED...
In all honesty, Marvel hasn't felt quite on their game lately. The majority of the recent films have felt just okay and a couple even outright disappointed us (looking at you Thor... sigh...).
Not this one. An emotional rollercoaster that can absolutley wreck your tear ducts, this one is well written, well directed, well acted, and serves as an incredible finale to the Guardians' storyline. Definitely go see it, but also come well prepared with a box of tissues.

A totally tubular romp through the stars.
It's been a hot minute since we've had a Powered Gaming! While we went in with relatively low expectations (we can only play as Starlord? really?), the resulting game from Eidos-Montreal was incredibly fun (despite the sometimes game-breaking bugs). A great depiction of characters we know and love, this is one we're glad we put on our to-play list.

Minky Woodcock: The Girl Who Electrified Tesla #1 You guys know I'm a sucker for historical fiction, and this one presses all the right buttons. Tesla and his bird wife, conspiracies, science fiction, and a powerful female protag who smarts off to anyone who gives her grief. Match made in heaven. Locke & Key/ The Sandman: Hell & Gone #1 Locke & Key and Sandman just go together so nicely. Not an expected combo like Peanut Butter & Jelly but one of those random combos that work like Cinnamon Toast Crunch & Shrimp. Anyway, this book picks up after the last run of Locke & Key and is going to be a wild ride. Guardians of the Galaxy #13 [Legacy #175] Al Ewing continues mixing things up with the guardians. We're presented with a new roster and a team that functions more like the Avengers than the spunky renegades they've typically been. It's an interesting dynamic and a good jumping on point for interested readers. Plus, a left-field bad guy reveal that has me super excited. There is no wrath like a Gamora scorned.
